I took the kids to Austin on Monday to spend some time with Cassidy, Jack and Grandma at the lake house. It was a little chaotic with a 3 year old, two 1&1/2 year olds and a crazy shih-poo but we still had a great time. We went out for dinner Tuesday night to a place called Angels that has a park surrounded by lots of fun outdoor seating and live music. Here are some pictures.

This is Emily's last week of school and it has already been a full week. Here are some pictures.

We had a very nice Mother's day with both sets of grandparents but unfortunately I didn't get any photos.

We joined the Nottingham Forest club because we decided they had more to offer than our neighborhood Memorial West club and we have to pay to join ours anyway. The NFC pool opened this weekend. Ben and I took the kids to their opening night last night and it was packed. I took the kids back again this morning. So far I'm very pleased with the pool and the staff is huge and very alert and helpful. One of the big pools is only 2ft deep with steps all along one long wall so I can easily get in and out with both, and hold on to Mark while Emily bops around with her life vest on or a floaty. They have a big water slide too that kids younger than Emily were zooming down but we aren't quite ready for that yet. Here are some pictures from our morning. Then we got Popsicles from the snack bar and "party in the USA" came blaring through the speakers. DANCE PARTY!

Emily's school had breakfast for the moms this morning before class started. Emily was very excited and she kept asking me, "Are you excited, mommy?". We had juice, milk, coffee and an endless assortment of tasty muffins. Emily presented me with a craft that she framed and a bouquet of flowers that she painted. Then, of course, they sang for us.
