Uncle Will, thanks for the cool dress from China!
Emily had a Halloween themed play date on Tuesday and got to show off her pumpkin costume to all her friends. We also stopped by the pumpkin patch for some pictures. You can click on any of the images below to enlarge them for easier viewing.

We had Emily's 6 month check up today and everything went very well. She came down with the flu earlier this week ( not fun!) but she was completely recovered today. Emily is now 26 inches long and 14 lbs and 7 oz. That puts her in the 60th percentile for height and 25th percentile for weight. Her weight has dropped down the percentile chart quite a bit since birth, but the doctor assured us that it is not a problem and that she is healthy and growing. It is just a little surprising considering her birth size. I mean, the first thing the doctor said when Emily was born was "Whhoaa, that's a big girl!". So this new petite status is a turn of events. She has some long feet like me though so its not over yet!
Emily's latest development is her ability to scoot/army crawl. She started pulling herself towards toys about a month ago, but it has now progressed to an army crawl. She moves the quickest when I have my back to her or when you place a remote, iphone or laptop on the floor. I guess she takes after her dad and has already developed a love of electronics. She is also sitting up well but cannot pull herself up on her own from laying to sitting yet. But I''m sure that will change soon too.
Jake came over to watch Sunday football with Ben and corrupted my baby girl with Aggie propaganda!
The Robertsons had us over for the Tx-Ou game. Emily was more interested in Reid's cool toys than the game!

Emily took some time today to help manage Ben's fantasy football team.

Good morning!

Emily had a great time on Saturday playing with Mimi, Grandad and Uncle Will!

Carol and Steve brought back some baby Uggs for Emily. They are a little big for now, but they are still fun! They also found a little stuffed animal that resembles Ben's special "Baby Bear" that he had when he was little.

We went to the park again today with some friends. This time I brought Emily's high chair cover to put in the swing. It worked well because it holds her in the seat - last time I was worried about her slipping down or slaming her head into the seat. Emily appeared to like the new set up better too.
