A friend of mine started a cooking blog with lots of good recipes and cooking advice. Check it out if you are interested. I especially like the recent blog post about kitchen staples to have on hand for throwing together meals. I'm not very inventive in the kitchen so I need inspiration from people like Lacey. Here is a link. http://literalcooking.blogspot.com/ Emily's comprehension and verbal skills have really taken off lately. Sometimes her ability to form a perfect sentence and make a valid point really takes me off guard. Here are a few from today: - I was trying to groom Emily's toenails this morning and Mark was laying next to us and working on a dirty diaper. I didn't say anything about it but Emily looked at me, grabbed the nail file and said "I'll do this myself, you go change Mark's diaper." She then made a very good attempt at filing a toe nail. - I asked her this afternoon if she wanted to play outside and she said, "No Mommy, it's too hot outside." - I tried to give her some green beans for a snack today. I said, "Eat some, they are really good." Emily said, "No mommy, they are not good."
