[nggallery id=21] Emily had her four month check up today. She is now 24 & 3/4 inches tall and weighs exactly 13 pounds. This puts her in the 70th percentile for her height and the 45th percentile for her weight. The doctor said everything looks perfectly healthy. Emily was baptized last week in the journey service at MDUMC by Rev. Daniel Irving. It was a beautiful service and we were blessed with a lot of family and friends to share the excitement of her big day. Ben and I are very excited about raising Emily in the church and growing in our own faith along with our precious daughter. Emily has learned a lot of new tricks this month. She has discovered her toes and is constantly holding on to them. She can even get them in her mouth! She has also learned how to do "the tripod". She sits up on her own now by leaning forward and supporting herself with her arms - hence the tripod. I can tell that she really gets a kick out of sitting up. Ben got lots of good video, so hopefully he will post a clip soon. My fovorite development thus far is her laugh. Figuring out new ways to make her laugh has become my favorite activity!
