Important question

Caroline sent me this photo a few minutes ago.
And she raises an important question in her email, "What do you suppose Mella is thinking?". Maybe someone reading this has a good idea and can provide an answer in the comments.

I want to start by apologizing for the long delay in posts and also for not getting the previous posts back up in a timely manner as had been promised. These kinds of things can really kill a websites following, so I understand that I'll need to be more diligent from here on out. Everything seems to have been restored for the most part. I have a top notch hoster and really all the credit goes to him for getting things back online without any significant data loss. The only known issue remaining are the thumbnails for the shower pictures don't display, but if you click the boxes the full size photos will come up. If you notice anything else not working please let me know.
We'll be posting more photo galleries soon. Just a little teaser....Emily went on her first road trip last weekend and also had her first visit to the lake. Very exciting stuff.
The site was down for a while between Sunday and Monday over Memorial Day Weekend. Everything is back up but the pictures and videos will have to be re-uploaded which I will work on as soon as I can. I apologize for the inconvenience. When we get everything else back to normal we should also have some new posts as well.
These past two weeks have really flown by. We've had lots of visitors and it has been fun introducing her to all the family and friends. Everyone keeps bringing us delicious dinners too - which has been amazing. Its going to be an adjustment when this post baby gravy train ends! Emily is getting bigger already and continues to reveal a little more of her personality each day. The first week she was very easy going. Clearly a trait she would have inherited from her father. But these past few weeks she has really started to fire up. Maybe it is standard for her to get so riled up and no real indication of her demeanor. But if its not, then we might have a little firecracker on our hands. Either way we couldn't love her more and I look forward to discovering more about her every day. So anyways, here are some new pics of our sweet little baby girl. Enjoy!

It's been an amazing week for our family. We have brought our little girl home from the hospital. Emily and Caroline are both doing well and we are all just trying to settle into a new routine.
I have to apologize for not posting pictures or sending many out. Fortunately we have just been too busy with great moments to capture that we haven't had much time to sit down, organize and post them. This is a first shot at what will hopefully be many more great photo galleries.
I've finally gotten around to posting some shower pictures! Of course, I had to learn how to create posts first. I was a little worried Ben would make the site too fancy for me to navigate on my own. But I think I've got the basics figured out for now.
My mom's friends and Ben's mom's friends,(Mrs. Stewart, Mrs. Provine, Mrs. Rogers, Mrs. Hill, Mrs. Canfield, Mrs. Pitts, Mrs. Gerald, Mrs. Kafka and Mrs. Shelfer), got together to host a shower for me in February. It was a great shower and everyone was incredibly generous. Ben and I are convinced that Baby Lesem is going to be way too spoiled.
This article gave me an idea for the theme of this blog.

Chung and My baked baby Lesem a diaper cake. I had never seen one before but it is really cool. I posted a couple of pictures below so you can check it out. Thank you to everyone at The Planet for the huge amount of support we have received from you.

I'm still just working on getting the site set up so that I can post pictures and video for everyone when the baby arrives. The latest is Shadowbox which is the plugin that lets you content without having to navigate away from the page. It's pretty common on most sites and I'm hopeful that getting it installed will be pretty easy. But it's my first time so I'm prepared for anything.
I'm going to try and get it set up to display a video I did of Mella at Jake's request. I have this video uploaded on youtube, so I could have just embedded again as I did with the previous video, but what fun would that be? For now you'll have to click the picture of Mella to launch the video.
Practicing embedding video. This is a short video of my dog getting a hair cut that I uploaded to YouTube the other day. Just wanted to see if I could get it embedded.
Update: Switched this one over to Vimeo as well.
This is my first post!! w00h00!!
